April Fitness Challenge - 21 Day Spring Reset

April is the perfect month for a spring time reset. As the days get longer and the snow starts to melt, this is a perfect time to incorporate some healthy habitual changes. Motivation and energy levels can be extremely low in the winter. I encourage you to participate in this challenge to get a fresh start for this upcoming spring! This challenge focuses on consistency over intensity. Adding in movement to your daily routine, even for a short period of time will establish healthy habitual changes. The hardest part of exercising is bringing yourself to do it! Practicing making time for exercise, just like you do for any other parts of your routine, will greatly improve your energy levels, sleep quality, body composition and overall health.
21 Day Spring Reset
Every day for 21 days complete one of these activities:
Brisk 30 minute walk
20 minute strength workout
3 sets of 12 dumbbell sumo squats
4 sets of 10 lat pull downs
4 sets of 10 leg extensions
3 sets of 12 chest flys
15 minute HIIT workout
30 seconds - burpees
15 second rest
30 seconds - walking lunges
15 second rest
30 seconds - jumping jacks
15 second rest
30 seconds - mountain climbers
15 second rest
Repeat 5 times
Yoga or Pilates session
